Catching up, again
It's been another long period between posts. I think I got discouraged because there's no way for my parents to read this blog. The Chinese government blocks some websites, and blogspot is one of those. It's disappointing, because a large reason I started the blog was to communicate with my parents. I may end up getting some cheap hosting and moving the blog to my own space. We'll see.
I've spent this entire week in Peoria, working hard with the client. It will be nice to get home on Friday, though the 4-hour drive will not be fun.
I recently joined NetFlix, which I'm pretty excited about. I currently have about 90 movies in my queue, which will take quite a while to work through. My first movie, Sideways, is awaiting my arrival at home. The wife has already received her first movie, Bridget Jones: Edge of Reason, which she apparantly liked. Last weekend, we rented our last Blockbuster movie. We got Closer, with Julia Roberts, Natalie Portman, and Jude Law. It was an interesting movie. I definitely thought Natalie Portman was good in it (though that may have something to do with my total infatuation with her). I don't know that I can recommend it to people, as I know not everyone I know shares my like for artistic movies.
